Delights Terms & Conditions of Sales
When
placing a purchase of your Cake Toppers through Dinky
Delights, you agreet to and accept the terms &
conditions outlined below:
- Payment can be made via Direct Bank Deposit
(preferred) using Internet Online banking, directly
over the counter at any branch or using your credit/debit
card via paypal.
- Orders will commence only when we have confirmation/acceptance
of your final design and when funds have cleared.
- Web Specials are run from time to time and
may be withdrawn or extended at any time without
notice.
- Any variations from the Bridal Express and
Unique Cake Topper range not mentioned as standard
will incur additional charges.
- Cake toppers are generally shipped 2-4 weeks
before your wedding date unless otherwise stated.
From time to time, there may be variations outside
of this and delays due to schedule and or other
reasons.
- Lead times & shipping times may vary from
time to time and may be less or more dependant
upon my schedule and that of the time of year.
Please allow longer for Xmas/Easter and public/school
holidays.
- Payment is required in full as this guarantees
a place in my schedule.
- Cancellations - Non Commencement. If you have
made payment and cancel your order, we will refund
to you the purchase price + postage/handling less
$35.00.
- Cancellations - Commencement. If you have made
payment and work has commenced, we will refund
you 35% of the purchase price + postage.
- Cancellations - Completion. If you have made
payment and work is completed, we will refund
you the total of postage costs only.
- The Bridal Express range and our flagship Unique
Cake Topper range include x1 bride and x1 groom
or a couple. Additional cake toppers may be requested
and quoted seperately.
- Postage & Packaging fees are additional
if ordering more than a couple. Prices are calculated
based on weight and the size of the box being
sent. Postage charges are subject to change at
the discretion of Australia Post.
- While every endeavour is made to ship your cake
toppers on time, Australia Post are ultimately
the carrier of goods therefore, all postage times
specified are dependant upon their delivery network
being on-time.
- GST is NOT charged on any orders you place.
- Damaged Items in Transit (only applies to Registered/Insured
parcels) - If in the event your Cake Toppers arrive
damaged via Australia Post, please ensure that
you keep all original packaging (boxes, bubble
wrap, foam, foam shells etc). Contact must be
made to Dinky Delights within 24 hours of receiving
your Cake Toppers, otherwise it will be assumed
that they have arrived safely. If in the event
the cake topper cannot be repaired, Dinky Delights
shall need to receive the damaged cake topper
with all original packaging + re-postage fees
from you. Once you have advised Dinky Delights
of any damage and you elect to proceed with the
insurance claim through Australia Post, Dinky
Delights shall make contact with Australia Post
on your behalf to commence the insurance process
and advise you via e-mail of the appropriate steps.
All insurance claims are made directly to Australia
Post and managed via Australia Post's resolution
team. Insurance claims are not available on Express
Post items. All decisions are at the discretion
of Australia Post. If electing to continue with
Australia Posts resolution team, a replacement
cake topper is not available as you may be compensated
from Australia Post to the value of the insured
amount. Australia Post may also ask for your Wedding
Cake Topper in the event they refund to you the
value of your cake topper. Please consult with
Australia Post for any changes to their Terms
& Conditions of damaged items in transit.
- Change Requests - Not shipped: Any changes requested
by you once payment has cleared and/or work has
commenced will incur an additional charge. Depending
upon the change this will be no more than the
fees set out in the pricing schedule.
- Change Requests - Shipped. Any changes requested
by you once you have received your cake toppers
will incur an additional charge. Depending upon
the change this will be no more than the fees
set out in the pricing schedule. Buyer is responsible
for all associated risk with having cake topper/s
shipped back to Dinky Delights for change requests
to be actioned. Any cake toppers received by Dinky
Delights damaged, unless otherwise stated, will
only be repaired, replacements will not be made.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges
with having cake topper/s sent back to Dinky Delights
as well as having them sent from Dinky Delights
back to you.
