Q What are the cake toppers made out of?
A Clay which is cured at a slow heat setting in the oven.

Q How do I know they will last?
A Unlike sugar, all clay toppers are baked in the oven. Sugar cake toppers will not outlast baked clay. Even if you prime sugar cake toppers with a clear laquer they will still degenerate over time as sugar is an organic product. There could be nothing worse than handing down your sugar cake topper only to find it is crumbling away and/or very easily broken! This is why we have chosen not to work with Sugar!

Q I've read that the baked clay can seep onto the cake, is this true?
A Absolutely not! The product used is touted as non-toxic by the manufacturers. After all, if they were I am sure people wouldn't be wearing jewellery made out of this product or have cake toppers made.

Q I'd like to enquire about how much the cake topper will cost, how do I do that?
A There are two options available, you can either complete the standard contact form, or, complete the more detailed Order Form relating to your cake topper enquiry.

Q. How much will my variations cost if I have described something that I want that isn't standard?
A. This will depend upon the variation, time & materials used. Each variation is treated uniquely, that is, you will be provided with a separate price for each variation you have.

Q If I complete the Order Form, am I placing an order?
A No.

Q. So when is an order actually placed?
A. Orders are only taken once we have all your details confirmed and your quote confirmed, that we are able to do the work in the timeframe and most importantly you are happy to proceed.

Q How do I place an order?
A If you have already sumbitted the Order Enquiry Form you are well and truly on your way. However, only after all the consultation is completed and once we have received confirmation from you that you are happy for us to proceed, you will receive a formal quote from us with payment details.

A The following payments are accepted

Q Who can I contact if I want to query my order?
A You would have been provided the email address to make contact with, alternatively you can use the contact form or call me on 0412 778 167.

Q How much of my order do I need to pay for up-front?
A In order to secure your place in my schedule and so that all the necessary materials can be purchased in order to make your Unique Cake Toppers payment is required in full prior to work commencing.

Q For Australian residents, how is GST calculated?
A GST is not charged to customers.

Q What are the shipping costs?
A Please refer to the shipping page.

Q Who do you use for shipping?
A Australia Posts extensive network within Australia.

Q How long does it take to have my cake toppers delivered once finished?
A Please refer to the shipping page for full details.

Q Do you charge packaging fees?
A Yes. This is to ensure that the packaging materials used to protect your cake toppers while in transit are of the highest quality. Fees are outlined within the shipping page.

Q How can I track my parcel?
A All express post parcels can be tracked by the unique reference provided to you. An e-mail will be sent confirming that your item has been shipped as well as the unique reference tracking number. Registered post is included in all regular mail and this will be provided to you upon confirmation that they have been shipped.

Q Do you offer express post and insurance?
A Express Post is available, however Australia Post do not insure for express Post items! Regular Parcel post is available with insurance or without insurance. We recommend that you insure your item, however the choice is yours. Please refer to the sale terms specific to insured items.

Q Do you ship outside of Australia?
A At this stage, shipping is only within Australia.

Q Can I collect my cake topper?
A At this stage cake toppers are only shipped out to the address specified.

Q What turn around time is required and when will my cake toppers be shipped?
A Cake Toppers are sent out anywhere between 2- 8 weeks prior to your wedding date. This will largely depend upon my schedule. The turn around time also varies which is schedule dependent. Anywhere from 2 - 10 weeks to make. It's best to enquire before hand when you have submitted your Order Enquiry and always best to leave more time than less if you are interested in placing an order.

Q I'm interested in a Cake Topper - can you hold a place for me.
A Generally speaking, No. Payment in full guarantees a place in my schedule as I have found over time that this works fairest for everyone.
